- Outdoor pool: the most loved area of the Hotel Gemma by guests of all ages is undoubtedly the outdoor pool with hydromassage open every day from 8:00 to 18:30 from June to early September. The pool measures 5 meters by 10 meters and has a maximum depth of 1.37 meters. There is no lifeguard service.
- Reserved Parking: to ensure maximum freedom for those arriving by car, we offer three different parking options (Park A, B, and C) located at varying distances from the hotel. Rates are dynamic and vary according to the season and the chosen solution; you can select and reserve your preferred spot directly during the booking process.
- Bike rental (with supplement): the new cycle/pedestrian promenade of Riccione is perfect for regenerating walks or excursions on two wheels. We rely on the services of a specialized rental in Piazzale Azzarita 200 meters from the hotel to always guarantee you efficient vehicles in excellent condition.
- Sailing boat excursion: once a week from June to August, set sail from the port of Riccione aboard an 18-meter Franchini “Green eyed princess” cutter. You can live a unique experience in the middle of the sea exploring the coast of the Riviera and the pearls of the Adriatic in the name of the most genuine Romagna hospitality (weather and sea conditions permitting).
- Entertainment for children: from mid-June to the end of August from Monday to Friday during meal times there is a professional entertainer in the hotel to entertain your children and teenagers with fun games, workshops and activities.
- Beach towels: if you prefer you can rent our beach towels for a small fee to save space and weight in your suitcase. For a small fee you can replace them whenever you need them.
- Foreign TV channels: in addition to digital terrestrial TV channels in the room you will find a list of foreign satellite TV channels in English, German and French.
- Laundry service: it is possible to use the internal laundry service, your clothes will be returned to the room washed and/or ironed in a maximum of 48 hours.
- Bologna Airport Shuttle: a direct daily connection via the Shuttle Italy Airport service. From the drop-off point (Railway Station), you can easily reach us by taxi or via the Metromare (Alba stop) in just a few minutes.

Yes, we work with a luxury chauffeur service for transfers to and from Riccione and Rimini stations, and Rimini and Bologna airports. Is there a swimming pool at the hotel, and what are the opening hours?
Yes, Hotel Gemma has an outdoor swimming pool with sea views (10x5m, depth 1.37m) featuring a whirlpool and a counter-current swimming system. It is open from June to September, every day from 08:00 to 18:30.
The area is under CCTV surveillance and features a sunbathing area with loungers. Beach towels are available to hire at reception (€5 for the entire stay). The water is naturally heated by the sun and covered at night to retain its warmth.
Is Hotel Gemma pet-friendly?
Yes, Hotel Gemma welcomes small and medium-sized pets (weighing up to 15 kg), so you can bring your dog or cat with you on holiday. The hotel provides suitable facilities for pets and is committed to ensuring they enjoy maximum comfort during their stay; a welcome kit is also provided in the room, consisting of a soft cushion and a water bowl.
A supplement is charged for thorough cleaning of the room.
Dogs, cats and all other pets are not permitted in the restaurant or pool area.
